A little Spain,

Monday, August 9, 2010

So, Laura is too into reading nerdy books right now, so I thought that I would make a quick post about Spain.  First, a link to the total collection: we haven't finished tagging them all yet (I know, I know), but I got tired of witholding the goods from everyone.  So, here it is:

Spain!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from my favorite place in Spain, Granada:

The inside of our hotel

Where we went to see flamenco dancing - follow the link above to see videos!

Right outside our hotel in the morning

Some wonderful detail at the Alhambra

Time for a little kissy face

A view of Granada from the Alhambra.

I was a wee bit tired and sick

But they had the best ice-cream ever (I went three times that day and got the same flavor - mandarin orange)

And then I used a space-age type porta-potty

And finally, we all slept in close quarters to end out the day - you can see my bed on the top.

Hooray! I fully support the reading of nerdy books. (Side note: I've been reading Brandon Sanderson's stuff the past couple weeks, and you should totally read them! Quite excellent.)

Spain looks awesome. Laura looks adorable on the teeny bottom bunk. And you and the orange ice cream times 3 = totally predictable.

Also, I'll be at church in Princeton on Sunday! So you guys better be there so I can see you, OR ELSE. :D

I'm excited to see you at church on Sunday! You're invited to come hang out and have dinner with us afterward if you don't have anything going on.
